Does Note 8 battery good enough for a day???

I would love to know how ppl are getting 6 to 7 hours of screen on time I never even hit 6 I'm always around 4 and every once in a while I hit a little over 5

I occasionally get good battery life. What ends up sucking is when I am using my phone in areas with severe reception.

Wish there was a way for me to have the phone automatically switch off mobile and use wireless when it recognizes terrible reception.

My Note 8 is charged early morning, heavy use, average 5.5 to 6 hours SOT, recharge early eve from 40%. The phone is kept free of social media, no FB, apps and phone are tuned as best as possible. So far since early Sept release, battery and phone are performing very well.

I charge my phone literally once a day and it lasts for as long as I need it to with all the games I play, social media browsing, listening to music, watching videos, etc. Never had to charge my phone more than once in a day. I can even last longer than a day if I'm too busy in my day to day life to play with my phone. Your battery drains depending on what you use it for.

This phone has some great battery life. I've been getting 6-7 hours from it. Here's a shot from a recent test to see how much I could get from it. Today I used it pretty heavy too.

I just don't understand the problem. Why worry about battery? Is where you come from baron of any outlets? That a 10 minute boost would be a problem? Why would anyone go to sleep at night and not plug the phone in? Does electricity cost so much where you live that it would be cost prohibitive? You can plug this phone in all day if you want, as often as you want and for however long you want. The only thing you shouldn't do is let it drain below 13%. But for those of you that are heavy users sitting in the jungle, ZeroLemon has the solution for you. It makes a case that can give you 10,000mAh of power (But it does make the phone HUGE) or a smaller case with 5,500mAh. And then there are power packs that you can plug in during your busy day in the jungle. This is what I use, no problem, widgets up the ying yang, full bright, live wallpaper. I don't worry about it. And where I live there is an outlet probably every 6 feet.

You know, I never worried about that. There has always been a way to charge my phone. And if the apocalypse start and all power is dead, who will I call anyway? LoL I did think about power failure, but if no power here and all my backups are discharged, and my generator is out of gas, and my car is also out of gas so I can't drive to where there is power, that and the looting that is going on is preventing me from reaching an outside source, I guess I am screwed. I just won't be able to update my facebook account for a couple days. LoL (Oh and only paid $550 for my Note 8 Unlocked from Samsung)

There is lot of world living where people don't have cars and generators and they do have power cut. So this is not about you only!

I think it should be more than 24Hrs, it depends how do you use the cell.

This is all subjective on how you use your device. For me, I can't get any device to last me a whole day. Even the Blackberry Keyone. The S8 Active has a larger battery and that can't get me through a whole day either. So it all depends on your usage.

I feel like the battery life on my note 8 is only slightly better than my iPhone 6 which is really disappointing to me. I dont know what is draining it so much it's very frustrating

Iphone has worst buttery issues. Surprisingly apple don't bother to make it better.
