Does Nox app player identify as a Samsung Galaxy S8?

[Android Central Question]

Yesterday I used Nox and connected to my google account with it. Google later send me a notification about suspicious activity on my account. I went to check the devices that have accesed my account and I noticed a Samsung Galaxy S8 at the exact same time I used Nox! So have I been hacked or is Nox based on a samsung galaxy S8?

Can you clarify -- is this the Nox app you're talking about? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.noxsystems.noxclient&hl=en_US&gl=US. Are you in fact using it?

What phone do you have? If you don't have a Galaxy S8+, then go to myaccount.google.com, then Security, then Manage All Devices. Do you see any there that are unfamiliar?

Also, do you have 2-factor authentication turned on for your Google account? You definitely should, since your Google account is so crucial.
