Does S2 3G call forwarding to none Samsung phones work?

I have a Sony Z3C phone, I can't get the S2 to forward the calls to the watch when the watch is outside the phones Bluetooth zone. Anybody else got this working on none Samsung phones? My phone and my watch are on different carriers.

Also mine is 3g which makes it capable to use without phone.

You should be able to call forward your phone to any working number including land lines...or any watch with its own phone number. Call your carrier for instructions.
