Does Samsung S2 communicate/pair with Nexus 5?

I just got my S2 and and trying to set up sidesync. For some reason it will not recognize my Nexus 5. Does anyone have this same issue and/or is there a fix for it. thx.

I think it only works with other Samsung devices
