Does smart lock work well on Note 9?

The smart lock feature on my Note 8, where the phone would automatically stay unlocked when at certain locations like my house, stopped working well on the Note 8s a few months ago and would always require me to unlock my phone when at home.

Anyone know if it seems to be working better on the Note 9?

Mine seems to work just fine. I set up my home radius and after 24 hours or so, it’s remained unlocked.
