Yes it does, but nothing is indestructible.

Yes it has Gorilla Glass, but as the poster above said, it's not indestructible. Many decide to leave the screen naked (has such a nice, clean feel to it), but maybe a s protector would have helped in your situation. Maybe not.

Screen protector would've saved it from scratches, not cracks. He stated that he cracked the screen (which actually is quite hard to do when holding it normally). Gorilla Glass DOES make it HARDER for it to crack, but it isn't a damn shield, you still have to take care of it, sorry.

i went through 2 iphones within a month long span. I currently have had the droid bionic for the past 6 months and it is the best phone i could ask for. i use to have the otter box on it, but that made it too monstrous. I have been rocking it naked, and if it hasnt broken for me, so you should be fine! But then again there is one perfectly imperfect angle that if you drop any smart phone it will break. just not as easy with this phone
