I've setup my Mikrotik router with L2TP/IPSEC PSK over IPv4 and defined the clients to have an IPv6 prefix and even created an DHCPv6 pool for the ppp profile, but when I connect my Samsung Galaxy S3 using the built-in VPN client it doesn't request an IPv6 address. Furthermore, if I go to Test your IPv6. its not even using the prefix to build an IPv6 from its MAC address.
I saw on the Mikrotik forums that someone said they had to manually setup their MacBook to do the neighbour discovery, so I wondering if the built-in VPN client is lacking this code? Has anyone else been able to get an android device to work with IPv6 over L2TP/IPSEC PSK (BTW I'm talking IPv6 over VPN, not VPN over IPv6) ?
