does the galaxy s6 have a better battery life than the s5

i have a Verizon s5 which ever since I got lollipop the battery has turned to crap. I have to charge several times a day and I have to rely on my charger to make it through the day. I was just trying to get peoples opinions on the s5 battery life vs the s6 battery. I use it a lot but not enough for my battery life to be draining this fast. I can't tell what is making it drain. biggest battery drains are android os and android system they are at 7% and 6% I have no idea what that means in regards to my battery life. also instagram uses 4% when I have not opened it today nothing seenms to be too high. there are other things showing up but nothing too major what can be done to improve my battery life thanks.

Try doing a wipe of the cache partition. You will not lose any important data, and it may help with the battery and performance. Follow the steps shown here: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-10683

I got better battery life with my S5 than my S6. But I never had problems with S5 battery life like you are having.

it is crazy st it does and I cannot figure out what would be causing the drain

My S6 gives ablout 3-3:30 hours of SOT with 20hrs standby time with 25% remaining. So its not amazing.
