You know how when your phone rings it starts out soft and gradually gets louder until it sounds normal? I can't stand that my GS5 does that. Of course, you can download an app that solves it but I don't want to be served a constant flow of ads and have another process/app runing all of the time just to have my ringtone sound normal. Seems reasonable to engineer a means within the operating system for the end user to be able to turn it off within the settings themselves should they not want it to do that.
So, I'm just wondering if it is still collectively engineered that way in Marshmallow. My phone that I'm running Lollipop on just rang and so the question comes as a result of the reminder of the slight annoyance.
Thanks.
