Has anyone tried it? Should I buy a USB OTG cable or wait. Also what data cable should I use with Moto E? Would any cable that fits, do?

No, USB OTG doesn't seem to work on mine. And yes, any data cable that fits should do.

Thanks. Does USB OTG work for Moto G, because I found a cable that said it was compatible with both Moto G and E.

Yes, I think it works on the Moto G, but I haven't checked.

Yes, Both MOTO E and MOTO G supports OTG feature. All you need to do is to install an app called "ES FILE EXPLORER" from Google play. Just install it and enjoy the great features.
Thank You

Does not support even if u installed any supporting apps and patches too

Otg works when ur hardware is compatible.
Changing just a line of code in the OS provides (unlocks) the facility ,provided that hardware is compatible.
