Does the Nexus 4 have the most classic and timeless smartphone design of all time?

I think if you are using the Nexus 4 even 5 years from now, it will not feel out of place. The understated design, the soft touch plastic, the chrome accent around the bezel all combine to form a classic and timeless design IMHO. If you think of a smartphone, you'd expect it to look like the N4. It just feels natural. It reminds me of the BMW E30 M3 or a 90s Porsche 911. They look more beautiful they older get and you appreciate their iconic designs even more.

I think the Nexus 4 design will stand the test of time and we will look back at this phone fondly for a long time. What do you guys think?

As long as you don't crack the back it's great. I plan to keep mine for at least three years.

It certainly looks nice but it's not the most classic and timeless smartphone of all time. The Z10 looks sexy and so do a lot of other smartphones. But yes it's right at the top of very nice design.

Could have a bigger screen but otherwise I've been quite happy with it since getting it last November

The N4 is actually too sexy to take in public naked, so I keep it wrapped in a Slimbook PU Leather Case. Also protects against breakage really well.

Personally, I think it's a great looking piece of hardware. I wouldn't be upset with future iterations based on the N4 design.

When I ordered this phone I bought cases for it, but it look so nice in person that I decided not to which is a first for me. It could have look even nicer if it has curved glass.

So I bought tempered glass screen protector for the front and clear Skinomi for the back. So far dropped it twice on ceramic floor, both landed on the back from 2.5 and 3ft without damages. The Skinomi provides scratch protection, but I'm still looking for tempered glass for the back, since there isn't one I might have to settle for a bumper, but in the reviews on both the Google and Chinese bumpers shows they aren't durable.
