I'm watching this review of Galaxy Nexus vs Nexus 4 and boy does that Nexus 4 screen look yellow and lower quality compared to that cooler Galaxy Nexus screen... is this really the case? Or are there Nexus 4's that are not looking as yellow color?

post that video.

That must be his unit or the camera hes using to film the review. I use mine for longs periods of time and its never tinted with yellow like it looks in that video.

It all depends on what the white balance was taken on. Which screen? If it was a screen . my screen is just fine.

They also aren't calibrated at the factory. So they can vary dramatically from one phone to the next.

Apple calibrates every iphone at the factory for consistency.

I have had my N4 for a couple of weeks now and I see no hint whatsoever of yellow tints or a yellowish screen. My screen is brilliant and crystal clear, so I'm always perplexed when I see these videos and pictures on line. And btw, I'm no Android fanboy as this is my first Android device (loving it so far).

Imho, the galaxy nexus screen sucks. The N4 blows it away. This is just from my observations at my local VZW store and Tmobile store.

The N4 definitely is not yellow compared to the iPhone. (Looking at them both now.)

Something's wrong there.

I bet a lot of it has to do with how the camera perceives the screens. For example, when taking a video of your computer or tv screen, does it not always look way worse than with your brilliantly, biological engineered eyes?

I don't have this problem either, but I only have a One S and that's probably not the best screen to compare it to.

The screen looks great. I despise the blue tint many other phones have. I'd take "slightly warm" over " frigid blue" any day.

Wild inconsistency is possible when the display isn't calibrated at the factory.

Wait a wile its the glue under the glass, it will dry 100% and whites will be good, my nexus 4 shows perfect whites

The glue under the glass is not 100% dry let it dry for a wile and it should show really good whites
