Does the Nexus 6P still stack up?

I want to upgrade from my Galaxy S4, but it must be an affordable upgrade. I can get a 6P for $400 today. But should I? I know it is about a year old by now!

From what I've heard about it from users of the device, it's a remarkably successful design with excellent specs and will certainly still have plenty of update life in it.
Bear in mind that, having got used to Sammie's bottom right for Back, you'll have to adjust to bottom left. A small but important detail.

I have Nexus 6p phone. It's a great phone and you won't regret having it, but as I heard new Nexus phone supposed to be released in October and I think the price for 6p would go down.

I'm waiting for the Nexus 7 to come out and I'm going to see the amount of the price drop on the Nexus 6p.

I just don't have the budget to pay $300+ for a phone.
