Does the phone really turn off?

So I've had my phone for a week now. Love it.

One thing I don't get is when I restart the phone and launch the browser, it goes to the last page I was on before I shut down instead of just going to the home page.

I'm using the stock browser and don't have fast boot on, but just wondering why it retains this in the memory.

Any ideas?

There is a difference between Sleep, and Turned off.

1. Tap the power button and its asleep, but remembers where it was.
2. Hold down the power button, and it will ask if you want to Power off, or go to Airplane mode, or Restart.

I do that. I hit power off and it still keeps the last page when I open it back after turning it back on...

I know. It did this to me too. I guess the browser saves the last visited page and let's you continue from there....
