I woke up my S26U is unusable.

This is what my display looks like. I don't have access to unlock it. I swipe down the notification and the options to turn off, restart doesn't work.

I tried opening the app and it just displays the wallpaper.

What TF happened to my phone.

Long holding the power button doesn't give you the power off options?

I'd bring it to your carrier store and see if they could help.

Try something out of the ordinary, like connecting it to a PC or to a monitor for DeX. Perhaps that will make it "snap out of" whatever state it's in.

Can you get into safe mode?
Long press the power button when it shows the power off button on the screen long press it on the screen safe mode will appear tap it

Mine got hung up in landscape mode. But all I had to do was reboot the phone and it was fine.
Ran this by one or two AI engines and they said this was a known issue and that the best/easiest fix was to reboot.

Never happened again.

It's stuck in landscape. I can access and get notifications but that's about it.

After I posted, I tried the power + volume down but didn't work...

I calmed down tried it again. All good.

I guess rebooting clears the Device Care? Reports are good, no issues.

Yes the second thing I did but it wants me to unlock my phone so that didn't help.

Yes but looking at post #8, it seemed like you got it fixed.

As far as I know, nothing is locked on my phone.

I'm sorry that's an old school trick.. But I found that it doesn't work today
