Does the Pure Edition work on AT&T?

Re: Pure Edition

Does the Pure edition work okay on AT&T? It says it comes with a T-Mobile

Yep, works perfectly. I am using it on AT&T now. The pure edition comes with a T-Mobile sim, but you can just take it out and use your existing AT&T sim.

Re: Pure Edition

Have any of you used a Sim adapter kit? I want to swap between the note 4 and the moto x but they have different sized Sim cards.

Re: Pure Edition

I had problems with my Pure Edition on ATT. It would frequently not receive calls while I was surfing the net, watching videos, etc. I returned it and got an ATT branded version which works better. It still misses calls from time to time, but not as consistently as the T-Mobile did. When I called ATT to complain, they said they only "guarantee" ATT branded phones. So far (a few months), my ATT phone hasn't been bad enough to complain. I do think this has something to do with the cellular coverage at my home (which is also my office so I spend a lot of time there), and not just the phone, and I don't doubt that a PE works fine on many ATT locations.

Re: Pure Edition

Be very careful with the SIM adapters. The web is filled with horror stories of people putting them in their phones while empty (and then it gets caught on the pins of the SIM reader. Also, if you do buy one, don't cheap out. I bought mine from a German company (>$15), and it fit perfectly and even worked in phones where people said "Never use a SIM adapter!" (Nokia 1020). Then, one day, I shoved it in backwards and broke the phone anyway :(. But that gave me an excuse to buy the MotoX which I'm very happy with.

Re: Pure Edition

For those who are using the Pure Edition on AT&T did you swap out another LTE phone or was this a fresh phone for you? I have the Zen Fone 2 and AT&T won't allow it to get LTE claiming its a UMTS only phone which is BS but at this point if I can't get it to work when it arrives in two days it goes back.

Re: Pure Edition

You might have to call them and have them switch some codes on your plan. I had to do that if I threw my sim back my old iPhone to take to the barn.
They said it would be fine switching between two Android phones as long as they are both 4g lte compatible. If the lte data doesn't work on the moto x just give them a call and tell them you switched phones and that the data doesn't work on the new one. They should be able to fix it pretty quickly.
On a side note, the data didn't seem to work at first when I put my sim in the moto x. I just turned it off for a few mins and turned it back on then it was fine.
