Does the S20 line come with RCS messaging???

Anecdotally - I've seen older folks would wanting higher-quality photos and videos of their grandkids, thus green/blue bubble or other photo sharing methods becomes a thing...

It’s certainly true that families seem to gravitate towards the same OS because of this.

How does the Samsung Messages app play with iMessage? I am switching and a lot of my family has iPhones. I want to make sure I can still send pics, emojis, stickers, animated gifs, web and YouTube links and so on to them. They’re gonna blub that I’m green but as long as I can still share the same content it’ll all work out.

Make sure you turn off iMessage on your iPhone before going to a different phone. When I went to a Windows phone I couldn't get any of the messages from iPhone users because Apple kept trying to send it as an iMessage. I had to put my SIM back in my iPhone and turn off iMessage before SMS messages would work both ways.

When sending pics or MMS between iPhone and Android I just use WhatsApp. MMS through regular text is garbage. This is where iMessage is superior in that it's all done in the stock texting app.

This is also the case with Google Messages and some stock messaging apps (Samsung and Huawei) when both sender and receiver have RCS capable phones AND their carriers have enabled RCS AND they're both on the same carrier or both of their carriers allow RCS between the two carriers (what a mess). Google letting the carriers be in control of RCS roll out was a huge mistake. What on earth were they thinking?

Anyone get RCS chat to turn on in Android messages. Mine still says not available.
