Does the s7 have slight curves on left and right sides of the screen?

I'm having an issue with my otter box defender case where when there is a black/dark image about 2mm in on each side of the screen I can see a almost pipelined line down the screen on both sides. If I take the otterbox off I can't see it anymore. I'm thinking of testing the screen protector off the case

There's actually two... A more traditional '2.5D' curved edge, and a slight bulge that covers the display portion, which screws up anything that needs to cover the screen.

Does anyone know a way to stop the screen protector from doing this? In my pictures above? I'm thinking about popping the screen protector out but I feel like it's a very minor issue as you can't see it with the screen on.

Unfortunately no, my wife's S7 on the otterbox defender has the same issue with the provided protector. It makes a clicking sound when you press at times like the SP isn't laying flat.

The S7 screen is actually slightly curved all around.
