Does the SD card work with the 3.1 update?

I have not seen if the SD card will work after the 3.1 upgrade on the VZW 3G Xoom. Does any one know.

a. usb storage does work, what else do you need.
b. root your xoom and install the custom kernel that enables it, my sd card is enabled.

Google/Motorola wanted to get Honeycomb out there asap, so they rushed it out the door.
