You should do whatever makes you happy. But as with a number of "hot" phones released in the past, they often go into in extended periods of being out of stock. I can't recall the exact time frame, but I remember the Incredible being out for quite a while. It's like waiting for a new release all over again.

Correct me if I am wrong, but the shortage of the Inc was due to amoled screen shortage from Sammy.

I certainly share frustration over the wait and agree that its best to be patient. Im 90% sure to get the bionic based on what I read from this forum and I liked my wife's Droid X phone which I upgraded up to gingerbread. My minimum requirements for my new phone coming froma blackberry 9300 would include dual core / lte plus dual cameras for video chat. Can't wait to put in my preorder!
