i have this pink line going through my screen. does this mean my screen is going out ? I tried to post a pic but the app won't let me.

Yes there is an issue with the display. Send it in for warranty repair if you can

Is there a chance it could get worse ? i'm trying really hard to hold out until the note 9 and i don't want to to spend the $200 for a warranty repair.

You shouldn't have to spend anything. That's a defect that should be covered for a year. The note 8 hasn't been out a year yet. But you'd be out a phone for a bit.

i have the s8 plus . I got it in April so hopefully I'm still good though. I'm nervous about taking it to Best buy geek squad. I've heard horror stories.

just talked to att and thankfully they are replacing my phone for free. as much as i want to try out the s9 , i really am trying to to wait for the note 9 to come out and i don't want to have to spend any extra money right now so i gotta hold on to this phone. thanks for the help guys .
