Does this phone have burn in?

Not an issue at all

I wonder if illiterate people get the full effect of alphabet soup

Mine has some burn in but I rarely notice it.

If you have amoled you'll have burn in. Every amoled phone I've owned has had it, but unless I dug for it I never could see it. As long as you're using it you'll be fine. Burn in hasn't been fixed prolly harder to do. The ui can also be optimized to prevent it.

Not sure if it's burn in, but I had uneven wear on the on-screen buttons area, if you put a solid color background you can easily see a different shade of the color from the two sections.

That's what I have too.

Pixels wear with use and start to fade with time. That's why burn in is a reverse image. A lot of the nav is black, so those pixels don't get worked as much as those above. Over time, this will appear as though the nav bar area is brighter, when in reality, the rest of the display is darker.

Happens with ALL displays. TVs, phones, etc. I've had this thing a year and I see a slight banding where the nav bar is, but it's only visible when I'm looking for it, and it hasn't gotten worse. I'm not concerned in the slightest.
