Does this phone still hold up?

Im debating between this and the Nexus 5x. One thing that is making me lean to HTC One M9 is the speakers dual front facing vs one front facing on Nexus 5x which i heard does not sound that great. The nexus 5x i think has the better camera. From what i heard the HTC's phones are great for media consumption with speakers and great screen but always seem to lack in Camera but im not sure how bad were talking im coming from and Iphone 6.

Camera is better then M8 but im not a big photo taker and the speakers are awesome.

My Note 4 is my daily driver phone but anytime i listen to music or want to play a game with good sounds or watch a video i use my M9 on WiFi.

The screen is that bad? I prefer 1080p screens I do t like quad he kills battery.

So would my iPhone 6 screen look worse than the m9.

Side by side with my M8 the M8 wins. I am very dissapointed with the screen on my M9 and im an HTC fan boy. LOL
I will say they have made improvements in the operating software and connectivity software. The device is not as much of a battery hog as it was when i first got it. Wifi and BT work excellent as well.

Nexus 6 is decent. Speakers are good but not quite as good as M9. Display is better. But i found it laggy on some games. The Simpsons tapped out was pretty bad.
The M8 is a kick *** phone. Maybe go that route?

None of Canadian carriers have M8 only M9's. Im going to go to bestbuy mobile and try all phones they have on display to see how they sound.

Same here. Sure, it's not perfect (I'd change a few things if I could), but as an overall package, I'm very satisfied. And the Snapdragon 810 does NOT have an overheating problem...at least on my M9 it doesn't, although I can't speak for others.

If only it had an AMOLED or SAMOLED screen it would be my daily driver phone.

Oh and for the record. Its the ONLY phone i can play Simpsons Tapped out on with out any screen lag.
My note 4 and Nexus 6 both have bad screen lag when playing that game. My M9 is perfectly smooth.
