Does Titanium backup sms? Any other good app for that?

When I restored my TiBu after flashing BB, my SMS messages were gone (as usual), but I am wondering whether Titanium does back them up somehow. I have tried the app BackupSMS, but I could never get it to work effectively. Is there a good, solid app for this?

Tibu does indeed backup sms, mms messages and call logs. Some consider it system data but I have restored sms/mms stuff with tib no prob.

I can also vouch I use this app for sms backup/restore every flash without issue. Tibu just recently introduced the ability to handle it as well, from the main menu, xml backup options, tho I haven't tried it with tibu yet, I imagine it's safe.

The latest version of TiBu can also backup SMS, MMS, call logs, and browser bookmarks as XML data (the same way SMS Backup and Restore saves the information).

The option isn't all that obvious as it's called "Backup data to XML," but works fine and even asks if you want to immediately upload the backup to Box, Dropbox, or Google Drive.

That is great about TiBu, I did find the xml backup and also sent it to my Google Drive. But will this now add that to the regular backup or will it need to be done manually every time?

In the meantime, I have set up the SMSbackuprestore app to run daily, and then I set up FolderSync to send the backup location files to my Box account daily as well. So, I should be covered!

Run it every time, same with SMS Backup and Restore if you choose to use that. I just run it before I wipe to flash, no need for daily backups

Yes, that's true. The liklihood of my phone crashing on its own is pretty low.
