I was perusing the HTC website and saw that they had info about the Lollipop update (I had already upgraded my phone at this point). It mentioned that the software update had Lollipop and VOWifi. I was excited about the VOWIFI so I checked my Phone settings (the app that you use to make Phone calls) and updated the setting to always use WIFI for calls when a data network is available.
Unfortunately, it doesn't work. Anyone know if this feature (even though it shows as an option) has been disabled on the VirginMobile HTC Desire 816 model? Can it use a home WIFI connection to make calls or only a public wifi? I had turned off Connection Optimizer - would that need to enabled for VOWiFi to work? Any other ideas to get this working?
