Does VZW ship early?

I've got a Silver 128GB Pixel XL on order with a delivery date of Nov 11. Order status shows "In process".

The problem is I'm traveling for 3 weeks starting Nov 8th so the phone will arrive 3 days after I'm gone and my 14 day return period will expire will expire before I get back.

If the consensus is it won't ship early, I'll likely either cancel the order or go pick up a 32GB version today.

What say you? Any early shipments on 128GB XL's?

If they got it and you're next up in the queue they'll ship it. My phone was supposed to ship today, however they shipped it almost a week early.

It seems Verizon has started to ship out the delayed shipments

I ordered on Oct. 14th (Black pixel XL 128GB) with original delivery date of Oct. 20. That was delayed to Nov. 18. But I checked my order on Verizon today and it says SHIPPED, finally.

I know that if they have it they'll ship it so I guess the real question is are they getting 128GB XL's sooner or later than expected?

Check to see if they will send it to a brick and mortar store for pickup. If you're trip is to one location you can have it sent there (if you're traveling all over you can pick a store several days ahead of where you are).

If that doesn't work, have them ship it for "hold at station", and you can pick it up at FedEx.

Just saw someone on Reddit that had gotten the email about their 128gb black XL shipping in December say they just got another email saying that it's about to ship today instead. I guess that "ship by" date is the absolute latest it'll ship. So it really is anytime between now and then.

My experience is usually yes, but people are posting on another board about getting emails saying their shipment has been delayed to December. Appears this only applies to 128gb models on delayed shipment.

My silver 32GB XL was listed as "ship by 11/2", but it got on a Fedex truck in Memphis this morning.

Have had 3 Pixel XL's one silver and two black that were pushed back from 10/20 to 11/18 date. They charged my card last night and all 3 were shipped out today. So yes it does seem that the back orders are being processed and we should be getting our devices before those dates listed now. It will make me happy finally I've been really tired of reading all the reviews and watching all the unboxing and review videos on YouTube. Ready to actually experience it for myself!

Thanks all for the replies. Because I wanted to have some time to try the phone out (and return it, if I didn't like it) I cancelled my 128GB pre-order and bought a 32GB today at the VZW store today. They had 32 GB in stock in all colors and sizes.
