Does your battery drain using Ubuntu on Samsung Dex?

While using Ubuntu on Samsung Dex the battery drains even when plugged in to power source. This is not practical if i use for a couple of hours. I would expect it to charge as i use it or at least remain stable. I am using a Galaxy Note 9. Does anyone else have this issue?

I haven't tested it but just to check, are you using the Fast Charger or a 'normal' charging block? The app is still in beta so wouldn't surprise me if there are still issues, but a higher-than-normal drain with something like this (and OS running over another OS running apps on a mobile device) is definitely bound to consume more battery than normal.
