does your note 2 lower volume all by itself like 2 or 3 times lower, when you are playing high volume music with headphones on??? my note 2 is acting this way, is this some safety thing for ear damage or is there something wrong with my phone please answer

I see a warning message about hearing damage if I turn it up to high but the volume does not change by itself.

My T889 Volume does drop when I plug in my headphones. I can turn it up then get the Warning about ear damage. Once I unplug the headphones then replug the headphones the volume goes back to the safe volume level and not where I left it at before I unplugged it. If that makes sense. Haha

That's a safety feature. Happens to all of us but you knew that.

I've got a similar issue but it seems to be related to Google play music. Whenever I skip a song or it goes to the next my volume jumps up. It only happens with that app. My stock music app doesn't have that problem.

I'm using a new music playing app now called tunester and that doesn't have that problem either.

At first I thought it was related to my equaliser; Noozxoide EIZO. But that's not it either. So I'm pretty sure that for me at least it's Google play music..

I use my N2 while cycling. I have never had any issue using Google Play music. The last time I went cycling, this exact same thing kept happening. I would be listening to music, and the volume would start dropping and eventually go to zero. I could unlock the screen, move the volume up by hand, only to see it shoot right back down to zero. This is the most annoying thing I have ever run across. I am begging to think that the software monitors how long you have had the headphones at a high volume, and just shuts it down.

I cant think of anything more annoying while trying to ride a bicycle.

It just started doing this recently, I wonder if there was an update of some nature to make this happen.
