To me it looks like the keyone is a beast but I've read so many people commenting and saying that crackberry Kevin actually edited the video to make the keyone look strong which I call BS because I have the keyone dropped it 4 times already on top there's not even a scratch
It won't open. I don't doubt CBK at all, he's a great guy.
you can have a 1000 say it's great! 5 say it's bad. it's bad.
The HTC U11 is borning imo. BlackBerry made a different phone that you can't say looks like anything. Plus, BlackBerry has way more pressure on them for this to be a good phone.Agreed. People always listen to the bad reviews and the positive ones go a little unnoticed. I definitely feel that it's a weak point in the device and when pressure is applied, that's where it breaks.
TCL is working to make that area a little stronger and hopefully JerryRigEverything can do another bend test in a couple weeks to set the record straight.
The HTC U11 also didn't do so well in the bend test but I haven't seen as much news about that... Guess more was riding on Blackberry's device.![]()

"Doesn't look nearly as bad..." That's not the most ringing endorsement for a device.
This is true...there is a certain standard set with BlackBerry devices. However, some of these "extreme test# really don't reflect real life use. That being said devices with PKB are engineered completely different then a slab device and the screen would be a weak point. It was the same with testing on the BlackBerry passports, and that device was a tankI think it has a weak point as a phone made of glass has a weak point. That being said BlackBerry has a much higher bar for some reason, especially at crackberry. Egh. Look at any forum and you have this situation. Bad unit here or there. Squeaky wheel. For BlackBerry you have a contingent looking to say BlackBerry screwed up, and I'm not sure why.
