Dolby Atmos and split screen issues

Xperia 1 ii.
Android v11. Build 58.1.A.1.178

When I first received this phone I could use dolby atmos advanced sound settings and YouTube together using split screen app. I've just recently updated android (to version above) and now I get a message 'App does not support split screen'. It then closes YouTube and leaves dolby advanced settings window open.

It seems I can no longer use the advanced settings with anything using with split screen. Very annoying!

Anyone know anything about this or got any suggestions?

I don't have Atmos installed, but I just ran YouTube in split screen with an mp3 player. Just run YouTube, then hit Home. Run Atmos, then hit Home.

Now, slide up from the Home button to get to your recent apps. In YouTube, hit the top icon, and choose SplitScreen. When that's up, find Atmos on the bottom of the screen and enable it. Now you should have 2 apps sharing the screen.
