Dolphin Browser using light sensor

For some reason Dolphin browser is using the hell out of my light sensor and using battery doing so. Uninstalling and reinstalling are not fixing it. Has anyone else seen this issue?

Think Dolphin Sonar has anything to do with it? I wouldn't expect it to, however it's the only feature I can think of that samples occurrences outside of the phone (movement and such).

Sent from my EVO L(a)TE using Android Central Forums.

I use Dolphin exclusively, and only notice the screen brighten when an actual light source activates it (as it should). I know of no setting within the browser that affects the light sensor, it's a display option in phone settings.
If you are in a dimly lit area, does the screen brighten without applying additional light?
