Don't buy a Google Pixel if you want to use a third-party launcher

As per the title, there is an interesting article over at Android Police, HERE.

I found the article interesting, because I have used Microsoft Launcher for both my Pixel 6 Pro and my Pixel 8 Pro with zero issues and I wonder what to make of reports indicating that there is a problem.

How about you? Have you encountered issues using a third-party launcher on your Pixel?

No problems with Nova for the longest time, currently on 7 Pro. I recall there was supposed to be an issue with gesture navigation while using 3rd party launchers, but I never had problems there either.

Personally I feel the gestures feel more smooth/fluid with stock launcher compared to when using Nova. Not to the extent where it'd prevent me from using Nova if I chose ... But something I definitely notice. Other than that, Nova is solid when I use it.

It's been awhile since I've used Nova on my pixels just because how smooth and fast day to day task but when I did use Nova no issues except gestures but that was way back few Andriod versions and haven't seen it since from the time to time I use Nova which is always ready to flip to on my devices.
