I would say too bad the phone didnt work out for you and good luck with the Dinc but your trying to recommend that people dont buy a phone that you played with for a few hours? sorry but that rediculous

Just want to make sure I have this right. I shouldn't like my PHONE bacause of its CAMERA? Now that you mention it, my Canon dSLR never has 3g. Maybe it is flawed too.

im still upset my camera's signal s terrible when i death grip it:)

BS

I am going to call B to the S on this post. You're another iPhone agent provocateur.

You returned the X because of the camera?!? It wasn't perfect, but had you waited for FROYO you would have discovered it runs wonderfully.

The buttons cause your fingers to fatigue? That's a new one and not even worthy of retort.

Listen, if you don't like the Droid X, go back to your previous model and save yourself the shame of overt prevarication.

If you are a fanboy, there are plenty of iPhone forums available within which you can perform fancy little backflips and give praise to Jobes.

Is anyone else actually giving credence to this poster?

This review is so engrained with reason, how could anyone argue with it? Reviewer doesn't understand how to partially depress shutter button to get it to focus, I'm sure his pictures suck on his other cameras too not understanding this function. He also lacks the strength to depress the function buttons a whole 1mm to get it to function. I'm wondering how the reviewer is such a smartphone expert, when apparently he's on his death bed taking his last breath, spending his absolute last ounce of energy.

Now. If he had said he likes the Sense UI more, this would have made some sense. If he also likes smaller screens/size, that would have made sense.

As is, this is a pretty senseless post.

Has anyone noticed that the OP has not been back on the thread? We are all having a conversation with ourselves! This was obviously a post to bash the x and nothing more, and as long as we talk about this dumb *** post, its what he wanted...can we close the post or just stop posting on it and get on to more beneficial helpful topics.

But I love making snarky replies to bad posts :(

Thank you for rushing online and registering to impart your smartphone wisdom and experience with the uninitiated. You're a good american.

what does being American have to do with it?
You don't think trolls are from other countries as well?

These threads happen, however I think it is interesting that ricktheprick has not rebutted anything on this forum. The rebutts would've been priceless...

Now that you mention it, my microwave doesn't have a camera OR a phone... I need to call GE and tell them. Oh wait, I can't. No phone on it. :(

Right now, i'm sitting at home waiting for the Fed Ex truck to deliver my DX. After reading this, i'm thinking of telling the delivery guy to take it back...

NOT!!!!

I had an EVO and then switched to a Droid X. I actually LIKE the hard buttons for 2 reasons:

1. You don't accidently hit them. On the Evo, I'd hit the Search button while trying to take a picture, etc.

2. You can hit the Home button to bring up the lock screen instead of always using the Lock button on top of the phone.

I also had the Evo ... I hated hitting that stupid search button all-the-time!!

I will say that overall I do miss the soft buttons and think the Evo just needed some rearranging ... maybe.

However ... its certainly is not a deal breaker and not something I would suggest making your decision on. I much prefer the Dx over my Evo or a Dinc.

Each to his own ... the beauty of Android is choice! :)

For my own personal needs, this device is FLAWLESS...hard buttons and all. The buttons were among the primary reasons I ended up exchanging my week old Droid 2 for the X. Accidentally hitting the buttons on the D2 was becoming very irritating. Obviously I'm no longer having that issue, now that I have the X.

YOU HATE A PHONE BECAUSE YOU THINK THE BUTTONS ARE HARD TO PRESS. god why am i even wasting twenty seconds responding to this moron.

Nah, have him put the box in front of the truck and run over it. One less DX around to inflict finger strain on an unsuspecting user. Think of the children!
