Don't get a EIP for 36 Months

Whatever you do don't do it 36 months Most of us get a new phone at 2 year mark you'll end up loosing a lot of money if you go for 36 months

Well you'd only lose out if you upgraded. If you kept the phone 3 to 4 years it would be the same amount of money.

Maybe you have to pay the balance but you never lose anything.

T-Mobile should take a cue from AT&T and allow you to customize your payment plan. They don't automatically stick you with a 36 month plan. On AT&T, you can change it to anything you want at anytime through your account.
