don't hear other party with BT watch connected after some update

Hi hello guys,
since updated android 14 I keep having problems with bluetooth connections with other devices.

My phone is a Sony Xperia 5 IV and I have a problem connecting with a Garmin Venu 3 (exactly same issue with Huawei 4Runner4) -
when I make or receive calls, sound is automatically connected/directed to the watch and so I cannot hear the person on the other side, neither on the phone nor on the watch - so I have to switch back to phone and then it is heard - this is really annoying. Have tried resets, app re-installation, checked BT setting and son on without a solution.
Any ideas, please?

Do you have anything in settings to reset Bluetooth?

Hello, thank you for advice, have tried this without luck.
Interesting thing is that only the first call works correctly after resetting BT settings, removing/adding the watch back - every next call fails again as described....
Any more ideas?
