dont mind slow horizontal transitions?

Ive read a lot of anger over this...but my perspective is this: i wonder if google did this intentionally? I was always annoyed at how easily and quickly the screen transitioned on my GB devices. Now...when im walking and texting...etc...i dont get the annoying screen flips that happen so quickly.
Anyone else see the slight positive to this? If single core phones can transition faster...then certainly google can make it faster if they want.

They should put a setting in the developer options for "Screen Rotate Transition Time"

This would be the right thing to do. Its on purpose just like in honeycomb but just much slower. Maybe we will see some custom roms with a adjustment.

i hate how slow it is. someone responded to my post w/ a fix. this seems to work for me so far.

go to: settings>developer options>transition animation scale>turn it off

maybe its just me but i swear my browser transitions more quickly now.

I don't like how slow it is but then again, I don't like how fast it is on my iPod.
