I thought this sort of thing was more or less common knowledge (with the exception of a factory image, I guess). Any time I've read about bootloader unlocking, it's always mentioned the issue of wiping user data and breaking updates.

On my Tab S3 not really. Flashed the stock ROM after messing with a few custom ones a few months ago and it still got an update.

On my Tab S3 not really. Flashed the stock ROM after messing with a few custom ones a few months ago and it still got an update.

Reflashing the stock ROM usually fixes the broken file needed to do auto updates, and relocks the bootloader.
