Exactly !Ouch. That's not good. Not having a publicly available image makes this hurt even more.
On my Tab S3 not really. Flashed the stock ROM after messing with a few custom ones a few months ago and it still got an update.I thought this sort of thing was more or less common knowledge (with the exception of a factory image, I guess). Any time I've read about bootloader unlocking, it's always mentioned the issue of wiping user data and breaking updates.
