dosent remember wifi password

When I turn off wifi and restart it I have to retype password?
Got new router but why not remember it used to

That seems strange. My M8 and Moto X don't need to reenter the password if I reboot my router. Perhaps a bug in the stock ROM?

Disconnect the WiFi from your network.

Reboot the phone, then scan WiFi again and reconnect it to your WiFi router. Make sure you tell it to "always auto connect"
