Double Calendar Notifications HELP

Hello--

I upgraded my firmware on my S4 about two weeks ago (7/31/15) and ever since that time, my Google Calendar and my default S4 calendar have been sending DOUBLE ALERTS for everything. I have tried to fix this on my own, but am coming up short. Can someone please help me?

I should also say that I have disabled all of the default calendars (advice from a helpful cust. service agent), but that didn't work. It only rendered the Google calendar blank--LOL
