Double lock?

Who else is not loving this feature. Got to press button on top and then slide..Too convoluted. Anyone else think so?

I've never had an iphone... on the iphone do you just touch on the screen and then slide to unlock? Or do you have to click the button first to turn the screen on and then slide to unlock...

I agree, just posted the same question on Crackberry. I would prefer just to use the button unlock button and do away with the slider/screen lock.

On the iPhone or iPod Touch you press the home button or power button then slide to unlock. It is very much the same on the Droid.

I guess on the droid it might be a slight bit more annoying because on the droid the button is at the top, but it seemed very similar to what I know of the iphone.

They need to make a holster that it knows, like BB's do, and then it awakens when removed from the holster, like BB's do. I'd even put up with the slide if it would just wake up the screen.

I bet a holster like that would be easy to make considering how the droid responds to the magnet on its back in the mount/carmount.
