Double notification

I get a notification for my emails on my watch, which is what I want. What gets annoying to me is when I drop the notification bar down on my phone to look at notifications I get another notification on my watch for the same emails I already received. Just the emails double send to my watch like that.

Anyone have ideas, I don't see any settings in the gear settings for this.
