Double space periond is not working on both Nexus 4 and 10

Hello everyone,

I cannot make double space-period to work on neither the Nexus 4 nor 10 (both with stock 4.3). I just do not know what am I doing wrong. What I did so far on both devices was to go to Settings, Language & Input, Google Keyboard English (US) settings button, Advances settings and checked the Double-spaced period. Based on some old threads for other devices I found here I also tried clearing both cache and data for Google Keyboard (under all Apps settings).

Have no idea what's wrong or what I should look out for. Does anyone know?

Do you mean a period (.) double-space (as at the end of a sentence)? I'm not using the Google keyboard, but you could try going into the dictionary and adding .
...then making a shortcut for it with just a period.

That might work for you.
