Double Tap to Turn Off screen

Does anyone know of a good app that will enable double tap of the home screen to turn off? The ones I tried always makes me enter my password manually when I turn the device back on even tho I use Fingerprint to unlock.

I use nova launcher and it gives me the ability to do that.

Nova launcher. The app needs to have a delayed option for the double tap to work. Nova launcher works great, and you will have a bunch more features

You can do it with Nova launcher.

Damn, not what I wanted to hear.

I have Nova Prime but was really liking stock. I guess if I find that I really need to have the double tap to turn off I'll enable Nova.

Definitely don't want to Root. Don't have time for all that. Lol

Tried before but dun like the delayed function. If you happened to touch the screen again within that short delay, it seems to break the screen off cycle

That's an Android deal. You either do the password thing or the delayed lock for doubled tap lock.
