I went from the G3 to the S7 edge. I miss the double tap to wake /sleep. What are your recommendations for a good reliable replacement via an app?

I went from the G3 to the S7 edge. I miss the double tap to wake /sleep. What are your recommendations for a good reliable replacement via an app?

Any such app would function by effectively keeping the phone internally "awake" at all times and thus would be a battery-killer.

There isn't any app that (reasonably and efficiently) do this. This is basically a customisation offered by the OEM's.
