Doubletwist causing homescreen and Chrome to drop frames

I noticed this after the last update but if I fully open doubletwist my home screen seems to drop a lot of frames and scrolling gets choppy. Same happens to chrome. I'm not rooted and I'm fully stock and I just wanted to see if this was happening to anyone else by any chance?
