dowgrade back to 1.5 on droid eris

Is there a way to dowgrade the eris back to 1.5 got the silent bug problem

nope, the only way to downgrade is to get a new phone, unless your rooted then maybe, wouldn't count on it

As long as you received 2.1 as an over the air update over 1.5, you can try the steps to install 1.5, and it should work. If you installed a leaked ROM, or installed the RUU update that was recently released, you will not be able to go back to 1.5.
