Hi everyone,
So here is my problem,
I want to try custom ROM on my LG Phoenix but i already have the new baseband installed and i've read that i need the old baseband to use the kernel for the color fix and to have a proper ROM with GSM...

I already tried this: [HOWTO] Flashing baseband (radio) via LGMDP.exe - xda-developers
but i'm stuck here:

and the browse image window doesn't appair...
anyone have a solution for this?

I tried also KDZ with this: [HOWTO][PICTURE GUIDE]Update your firmware using KDZ Updater - xda-developers
but it soft bricked (boot-loop, no recovery access) the phone 2 times already with no luck... (i don't know if i missed something, maybe i have to wipe all before ??)

If there is a simpler solution i'm here to listen...
(maybe a patch to use old baseband for the new baseband user, since there is a patch to use the newBB for the OBB User...)

Thanks for helping me.

if you dont have anything to boot to then your stuck tring to figure out the KDZ tool.
i suggest you go give the FASTBOOT STARTED thread a read if you havent yet.
make sure your diabling the LG modem in device manager.

I wanted to ask about that. Everybody keeps saying that you have to disable the LG driver in Device Manager. I've used the kdz tool twice now (lol), and I never messed with Device Manager.
Don't know the significance.

Anyways thank you guys,
I was right for kdz i full wipe was needed and it worked :) but at the end I'm back on newbb no custom rom working so good on the Phoenix :/

Waiting for a new kick-ass kernel!!

I think I may have figured out the reason why people say to disable the driver in Device Manager. I think that's for "LGMDP THUNDER v1.5 (Operator).exe" (which I've never used). You do not need to disable any drivers in Device Manager when you use "KDZ_FW_UPD.exe" (the KDZ flasher).
