Download maps?

Apologies if this has already been posted -- I tried a few search terms first but couldn't find anything. One of the claims on the HTC EVO 3D page (at HTC - Products - HTC EVO 3D) is: "Zero-wait, zero-cost maps. Download maps to your phone for instant loading and no data roaming charges when you?re travelling."

Anyone have any idea what this is or how to do it? Is this intended to be part of a Nav app or something else?

I believe you are looking at the European version. It says with "locations" further down and I have no such app. You can however cache map data with Google maps.

You may be right. If you go through the US route, the page is different.
