I'm trying to download something from my cd to my Motorola Atrix. I've never downloaded anything to my phone. I do have ITunes and Windows Media Player. How do I do this? Thanks.

Have you ever connected it to your computer? Do you know how to rip music (assuming that's what it is) off a CD?

The biggest problem in the beginning, is that you'll have to make sure you have the correct drivers installed in your pc. It has to recognize your device. With a stock device, this is usually accomplished with the sync software that came with your device. Example, for HTC phones, it's HTC Sync.

After you install the drivers to your pc, when you connect your phone, it may prompt you how to connect it (charge only, Mass drive, etc) You'll probably want to connect it as a mass drive. This should allow you to see the SD contents through Windows explorer. Note that all devices are different, so you may get different options when you connect your phone via usb cable.

This should allow you to transfer files via Windows explorer to your phones SD. Some applications on your PC, may allow you to set a default path, which means it will automatically transfer the files to your SD.

Hope this gets you in the right direction.

Do what Moscow said. Start by connecting the phone and drag over the files.

If the files don't open or play, you'll likely have to rip, or convert the file to something readable by the phone.
