downloaded ringtones not working ftom myxer

I have downloaded many ringtones from myxer with no problems until yesterday. Now they are saying thwy are an uknown format.
Looks like they dl into a gdp extension. I renamed to mp3and another format that seems to be working from others and no go
Could the file from myxer be bad maybe? I had two in a row do this

Do you make the ringtone from myxer?
There's an app called ringdroid that lets you make ringtones on the phone, which can be more convenient.
Sorry I don't have a direct answer.

No i was just downloading already made ones rather then teansferring the song to my phone then cutting it

I did more research. Apparently Im not the only one having the trouble. Guess ill find a way to download and use ringdroid.
